Visit Austin Giveback Gig SkyBox
What an absolute honor it was to be part of the Visit Austin Foundation’s incredible celebration. We had the distinct pleasure of stepping up as a sponsor for the Give Back Gig 2026, and honestly, we had the absolute best time supporting such an incredible cause.
Held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the stunning SKYBOX on 6th, the Give Back Gig 2026 celebrated Austin’s vibrant culinary scene through a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. This beautiful evening brought together some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs with rising talent from the Austin ISD Culinary and Hospitality Program. As a team that deeply values creativity and professional development, seeing the passion, dedication, and raw talent from these students was incredibly inspiring. As a trusted partner for luxury corporate event flowers and rental needs, we love playing a part in helping these aspiring professionals build their futures.
A Night of Exceptional Culinary Artistry and Community
The heart of this evening highlighted the power of food, mentorship, and community while showcasing the next generation of Austin’s culinary leaders. Guests enjoyed a spectacular collaborative tasting menu developed by participating chefs and students, specialty beverages, and live entertainment that reflected Austin’s signature culture of food, music, and hospitality.
The 2026 culinary lineup featured an incredible group of local culinary legends:
Chef Amanda Turner of Olamaie
Chef Mark Dayanandan of Hilton Austin
Chef Rick Lopez of La Condesa
Chef Ali Clem of la Barbecue
Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph of Canje
Chef Kevin Cannon of Barley Swine
The evening was hosted by special guest and emcee Mando Rayo of United Tacos of America, who helped guide a program centered on culinary storytelling, mentorship, and Austin’s hospitality community. Guests were also treated to incredible live music from The Watters during the VIP experience, followed by an amazing main event performance by DJ Chorizo Funk.
All proceeds from the Give Back Gig directly supported the Visit Austin Foundation, Good Work Austin, and Urban Roots. These funds advance vital scholarships, mentorship, education, job training, workforce development, and community impact across Austin’s hospitality and culinary industries.
Designing Magic: The Mid-Air Floral Pour
When it came to bringing our own creative touch to SKYBOX on 6th, we wanted to design something that felt truly whimsical, textural, and grand. Our goal is always to demonstrate why we strive to be the best event florist in austin by pushing the boundaries of traditional event design.
Our favorite part of the evening’s setup was a massive floral installation that brought a touch of natural wonder indoors. We designed and suspended a mid-air flower tin installation, crafted to look as though it was magically pouring a vibrant waterfall of blossoms directly into the room.
Connecting this floating focal point was a lush, sweeping greenery garland that stretched over 500 feet long, weaving its way through the venue and bringing the entire environment to life. This type of large-scale flower and decor rental design requires precise execution, and our team handled the entire floral, decor, set up, breakdown, delivery seamlessly to ensure the venue looked flawless from start to finish.
From intimate high-profile gatherings to massive galas fundraiser events, creating unforgettable atmospheres through living art is our true passion. We love collaborating with local organizations to elevate the scenic landscape of our community.
A massive thank you to the incredible teams who captured the energy and beauty of this unforgettable evening so perfectly.

The Grand Lady
Blush colorful bright tones with watercolor print and bold fabrics were our favorite at The Grand Lady educational networking ILEA event in Manor, Texas located about 20 min out of Austin back into the country. This Elegant traditional venue had such a beautiful modern white walled reception hall that made for a picture perfect event. Airy tones with bright accent and natural floral foliage was the perfect to this corporate day time luncheon. We used clear glass cylinder vase arrangements with greenery wreath at their base then for the cocktail had vase-less low centerpieces that sat on the table. The white urn bar flower arrangement with cascading greenery was out personal favorite touch.

Thea + Michael
Thea and Michael's Horseshoe Bay Resort wedding day was one of our favorites!! They selected such a classic color palette of ivory, white, and greenery to bring their elegant wedding day to life. Their timeless flowers and decor had our florists swooning over every single floral design! From their lakeside terrace ceremony under the venue's pergola to their reception under strands of golden lights it was simply perfect. For the bridal party bouquets we used traditional style designs with little to no greenery full of premium flowers and lush garden roses. We used our gold harlow stands rentals for each side of the ceremony aisles that were brought in after the ceremony and transformed from aisle floral to table centerpieces. The reception head table was absolutely stunning! With a mixture of our rental clear glass hurricane vase sets and LED pillar candles among the greenery table runner garland and the repurposed aisle flower to give the table height. For their guests tables we used our hurricane vase with candle rentals with floral and greenery in between. Then for the other half, we repurposed the bouquets as centerpieces and tied all of the tables together with greenery and tea light. As a florist, I highly recommend floral like their wedding day since it is so neutral, versatile, elegant, and timeless. A wedding that will forever be beautiful and you will not look back on 20 years from now and ask yourself, "why?". Sheer perfection:)

Sharon + Jason
Tucked away in the center of downtown Austin lies the beautiful and historic Mattie's Green Pastures. The venue is covered with sprawling oaks peacocks and most importantly the beginning of Sharon and Jason's forever. The wedding day was so unique, light, and airy with it being a daytime brunch and having elegant flower installations at the ceremony site. The ceremony took place under their enchanted oaks and had flowers climbing on each side of the trees to help create an arch or flowers attached to the tree. For the aisle fixture we used greenery swags. The reception table flowers matched the bridal party flowers, bridesmaid bouquets, and bride's bouquet. We used ivory, and white, with muted pink and mauve light tone color accents. We used greenery at the top of the ceiling in the tent, behind the couple, on their sweetheart table, welcome sign, cake table, and around the venue. The wedding cake flowers had little accents to match the bridal party bouquets. The centerpieces were asymmetrical rental urn vases with greenery cascading from each side and flower and greenery accents on the table in between.

Alex + Cameron SOCO Wedding
Bold, romantic, lush tones of fuscia, purple, pinks, and hot pinks are sure to impress your guest especially when it is against a beautiful modern brick wall that South Congress Hotel offers their wedding and event guests. The white walls are perfect to set a modern back splash great for a ceremony wall or backdrop. We used our gold modern harlow rental stands for the wedding ceremony alter and reused the ceremony flowers for the reception tables. Our favorite part was the lush rose petal runner that created a beautiful watercolor toned floral runner down the tables and on the guest plates to accent the white and make the guest table seating really pop, and omg the fragrance was heavenly!

Lisette + Patrick
Lisette and Patrick's wedding at The Arlo Wedding and Events venue outside of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country was a classic wedding to remember. They wanted to have Austin's best event florist do their wedding day ceremony and reception flowers so were honored with being able to design the flower from the venue's mantle ceremony arch with lanterns on each side and flower cascading on each side of the lanterns and across the mantle ledge. We loved that after the wedding ceremony the couple used the mantle flowers again! They were able to repurpose their lush full cascading flower arrangement from the mantle to the sweetheart table! I honestly do not know which location the flowers looked more gorgeous on!! The colors and floral selected were so perfect! As a designer I always recommend flowers that you will look back on 10 years from now and still are just as gorgeous as that day! Having natural emerald green and classic ivory and whites are always safe and amazing! After the dancefloor was checkered black and white rental dance floor from Premiere Events that really highlighted the colors and matched the linens and venue! For our tables, we used a mixture of gold tall Harlow stands and low table arrangements along with our gold mercury glass rental teal lights as you can never have too many candles. Camille with Elsie events did a beauitful job bringing all of the vendor and clients dreams to life and so smoothly!

Ladies Tea Party
Want to a brunch like no other? Then look no further. COVID has produced hybrid events and nothing beats a private adult tea party with your besties. Brunch, luncheon, anniversary, dinner or cocktail party whatever the occasion treat yourself to yummy cakes, mimosas, and lush floral. We used our gold column risers rentals to create an end table floral installation. This added depth, dimension, fragrance, and really made the table fabulous all around. The rose textured table cloth, antique tea ware, and delicate vintage napkins were rentals provided by Marvelous Tea Party. Your event should be as amazing as your friends and you should all be treated to the best flowers and decor Austin area has to offer.

Lee + Taylor
Lee and Taylor's wedding day was such a unique dream come true. Taylor had such lovely organically rich tones that with natural accents and a modern twist. Their wedding day was at Hidden Falls Event Center. We used natural simple greenery smilax around the chandeliers, beams, stairwell. Then on the head tables a mixture of bud vases, tall arrangements on our gold rental harlow stands with floral sitting on top cascading down. Between the tall floral stands, were tapered candles, votive candles, floral bud vases, and a bay leaf greenery table runner. At every guest setting there was a hammered copper charger, topped with a satin black napkin, copper napkin holder, custom clear acrylic name tags with a rose gold brush background, topped with a pay leaf greenery accent, and sugar cookie with the couples initials. For the guest round tables the centerpieces were in beautiful round black urns. The sweetheart table had an elongated boat urn with an asymmetrical design and pillar candles on each side. We enjoyed the moody romantic vibes, and it fit perfectly for their fall wedding day weekend.

Kylee + Nelson Canyonwood Ridge
Kylee & Nelson had such a beautiful bright and cheery wedding at Canyonwood Ridge in Dropping Springs, Texas. With views of the hill country, hanging greenery from the chandeliers brought the beautiful hill country inside as well. They had smilax around their 7ft wreath arch with floral on the ground on each side that was moved to the cake table after and our beautiful gold rental harlow stands with floral that sat on top and cascaded down that was also brought inside after the ceremony and used on the head table. The bridesmaids wore light blue so we added some blue thistle accents to highlight their dress color and added fun peach and coral pops to make the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres pop. The ceremony was outside under the venue's arbor and reception inside following.

Kristen + Nick
On the outskirts of Austin, on a hillside overlooking Lake Travis lies Vintage Villas. The ultimate wedding weekend destination wedding venue. From the arbor with wisteria that vines around and the shaded ceremony area to the beautiful hanging chandeliers inside, this venue just needs some greenery, floral and candle light and you are good to go! Kristen & Nick, had a intimate COVID wedding and postponed their wedding to November to celebrate with their friends and family. We loved their colorful palette with mixed fall toffee roses accents and warm toned mums. Her bridesmaids wore airy colorful tones that were all different but matching and their bouquets tied everything together. For their reception we reused their ceremony flower toppers and used naturally whimsy greenery on the chandeliers, tables, and easels to give every table a natural romantic but simple touch. Kristen provided gold geo candle centerpieces that she crafted herself with an LED pillar candle and we designed eucalyptus greenery mix wreath around them with flower accents and table numbers. For the head table we designed a 24 foot long silver dollar eucalyptus greenery garland runner and used Kristen's candles and bridesmaids bouquets reused down the table. So beautiful and perfect.

Jemimah + Christopher
Jemimah and Christopher's wedding day at Addison Grove was such a beautiful classic wedding. Carhartt Photography captured their love that started in college at The University of Texas and beginning together in the Texas hill country outside surrounded by their closest friends and family. We used roses and babies breath mixture on the arch and on gold stand aisle fixtures along the aisle and on each side of the ceremony arch. The venue provided the arch while our team attached the floral that would be used afterwards at the reception. Most all of their ceremony floral was able to be repurposed at the reception. Smilax was used on the greenery curtain draping, columns, backdrops, the bar area, and places that looked sparse or vacant. This gave the space simple elegant romantic tone.

Intimate Lincoln Chapel Wedding
We can not get enough of Rachel's intimate wedding @lincolnchapel. From the light airy clean floral colors down to the attire, it was picture perfect. They used @premiereevents rental columns for the ceremony with guest table centerpieces on top of each column and at the column bases. Eco friendly- cost effective, and most importantly GORGEOUS!!!!! Check out the full floral asymmetrical colorful bouquets; Coral, melon, ivory, white, with minimal greenery paired so beautifully with her bridesmaid's blue dress, and oh my goodness Rachel looking absolutely stunning in her timeless vintage beautiful wedding dress! IN LOVE!!!!!!!!

Greg + Alyse
Warm natural tones with gold and burgundy pops, and coral orange tones was the color scheme for Alyse & Greg's hill country wedding day at Morgan Creek Barn. We used our ceder arch ceremony rental for the alter in front of the venues large open windows. For the aisle floral we used greenery swag attachments flowing from the top to the bottom of the chairs tapering off on the ground. When guest entered the ceremony area they were greeted with aisle flowers on top of our gold 31" metal harlow stands next to the welcome sign. We used greenery around the welcome sign and sign in table. For the ceremony we repurposed the flower from the ceremony to the reception tables with the ceremony alter attachments on top of the fireplace mantle and the tall gold stands arrangements on the tables. For the cocktail tables we used our rental bud vases and gold candle votive. Congratulations to our beautiful bride and groom on their special wedding day!
