The Grand Entrance

First impressions are everything. As guests walked into the venue, they were immediately greeted by a massive, show-stopping orchid and palm installation. We carefully selected the most vibrant fresh flower varieties to set an energetic, tropical mood from the very first step. Designing impactful entrance pieces is one of the many reasons we strive to be the best austin florist for immersive, experiential events.

Lush Tablescapes and Indoor Jungles

The main dining area was an absolute tropical dream. To create that authentic Havana club atmosphere, we designed towering large palm arrangements displayed on elegant gold stands, drawing the eye upward toward the incredible atmosphere created by Austin Event Lighting.

Down the center of the gorgeous green tables, we placed lush tropical flowers and scattered candles everywhere. The warm, flickering candlelight glowing against the rich linens, woven rattan chargers, and modern pink chairs created an incredibly inviting ambiance. To complete the immersive Havana vibe, we brought in loads of our fresh palm tree and plant rental options. The Texas Women’s Leadership Conference kicked off with an unforgettable VIP Reception at the historic Governor’s Mansion, setting a sophisticated tone for the inaugural event. Under the careful planning of JHL, the evening transformed into a masterclass in luxury, blending high-level networking with hands-on experiences that delighted every guest in attendance.

Culinary Artistry and Texas Rhythms

The atmosphere was electric as the smooth sounds of Texas Tech Jazz filled the air, providing a soulful backdrop to a night of celebration. Chef Eric with Food+Drink curated a menu that was nothing short of spectacular, featuring flavors that celebrated the best of Texas cuisine with a refined, modern twist. Guests raved about the delicious offerings, which were perfectly complemented by a high-energy espresso martini bar. For those looking for a warm, creative pick-me-up, the Luna Espresso Cart served custom beverages that doubled as art, giving attendees a cozy boost of energy.

One of the most talked-about highlights of the evening was the interactive flower bar, a "gift that kept on giving" throughout the night. The Vision: Neon Cacti and Desert Blooms

To achieve this specific "Desert Disco" aesthetic, we leaned heavily on live event flowers to bridge the gap between traditional and trendy. The floral installations featured a bold mix of deep fuchsia orchids and textured desert flora, accented by metallic-painted palms that shimmered under the bar lights. By integrating custom neon cactus signs directly into the arrangements, we successfully brought a playful, Austin-centric glow to the rustic structural elements of the venue.
