Visit Austin Giveback Gig SkyBox
What an absolute honor it was to be part of the Visit Austin Foundation’s incredible celebration. We had the distinct pleasure of stepping up as a sponsor for the Give Back Gig 2026, and honestly, we had the absolute best time supporting such an incredible cause.
Held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the stunning SKYBOX on 6th, the Give Back Gig 2026 celebrated Austin’s vibrant culinary scene through a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. This beautiful evening brought together some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs with rising talent from the Austin ISD Culinary and Hospitality Program. As a team that deeply values creativity and professional development, seeing the passion, dedication, and raw talent from these students was incredibly inspiring. As a trusted partner for luxury corporate event flowers and rental needs, we love playing a part in helping these aspiring professionals build their futures.
A Night of Exceptional Culinary Artistry and Community
The heart of this evening highlighted the power of food, mentorship, and community while showcasing the next generation of Austin’s culinary leaders. Guests enjoyed a spectacular collaborative tasting menu developed by participating chefs and students, specialty beverages, and live entertainment that reflected Austin’s signature culture of food, music, and hospitality.
The 2026 culinary lineup featured an incredible group of local culinary legends:
Chef Amanda Turner of Olamaie
Chef Mark Dayanandan of Hilton Austin
Chef Rick Lopez of La Condesa
Chef Ali Clem of la Barbecue
Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph of Canje
Chef Kevin Cannon of Barley Swine
The evening was hosted by special guest and emcee Mando Rayo of United Tacos of America, who helped guide a program centered on culinary storytelling, mentorship, and Austin’s hospitality community. Guests were also treated to incredible live music from The Watters during the VIP experience, followed by an amazing main event performance by DJ Chorizo Funk.
All proceeds from the Give Back Gig directly supported the Visit Austin Foundation, Good Work Austin, and Urban Roots. These funds advance vital scholarships, mentorship, education, job training, workforce development, and community impact across Austin’s hospitality and culinary industries.
Designing Magic: The Mid-Air Floral Pour
When it came to bringing our own creative touch to SKYBOX on 6th, we wanted to design something that felt truly whimsical, textural, and grand. Our goal is always to demonstrate why we strive to be the best event florist in austin by pushing the boundaries of traditional event design.
Our favorite part of the evening’s setup was a massive floral installation that brought a touch of natural wonder indoors. We designed and suspended a mid-air flower tin installation, crafted to look as though it was magically pouring a vibrant waterfall of blossoms directly into the room.
Connecting this floating focal point was a lush, sweeping greenery garland that stretched over 500 feet long, weaving its way through the venue and bringing the entire environment to life. This type of large-scale flower and decor rental design requires precise execution, and our team handled the entire floral, decor, set up, breakdown, delivery seamlessly to ensure the venue looked flawless from start to finish.
From intimate high-profile gatherings to massive galas fundraiser events, creating unforgettable atmospheres through living art is our true passion. We love collaborating with local organizations to elevate the scenic landscape of our community.
A massive thank you to the incredible teams who captured the energy and beauty of this unforgettable evening so perfectly.

Maes Ridge
Hill Country modern elegance is the best way to describe the fairy tale floral. With wedding flowers that are native to Austin Texas hill country as well as premium imported flowers this bouquet is a bit moody, but great throughout the year. Mae's Ridge was the perfect venue to embrace the dusty colored floral and on the white walls the emerald green ceremony arch really popped out making it a truly enchanting bride and wedding day.

Yesenia + Ralph's Barr Mansion Wedding
Yesenia and Ralph's beautiful eco friendly wedding was such a beautiful wedding day! They had an ivory, navy, and burnt orange color scheme, with natural greenery accents. Barr Mansion's gorgeous Victorian home in North Austin was such a delight to work in. Their Dance floor greenery wreath was spectacular to see. While their wedding day in the hill country might have been slightly effected COVID the guest in attendance were so happy to be the ones they love most.

Sara & Michael
Sara and Michael's moody winter burgundy, melon, white, and natural greenery wedding at One Eleven East was perfect for their winter wedding. Modern gold decorations, accompanied with our rental brass candles stick holders with a silver dollar and italian ruskus greenery garland table runner for all of the tables. Sara's cascading waterfall took 2 florists to design, but it was so worth it. Sara asked for a large bouquet that went down to her feet and with very full and that is exactly we she had! One of our favorite features of this wedding was their amazing staircase full of flowers and greenery that flowed down the banister to the floor with a pillar candle mixture set. The greenery was grouped in certain areas too to look thicker and more lush but led the eyes straight to the yummy wedding cake table.

Spring Wildflower Affair
The beautiful spring time planned by Eclipse Events was so colorful and fun with all shades of blush for the bridal party flowers and wildflower centerpiece mix. Our ceremony had flowers hanging from the arms of a gigantic oak tree where the couple got married. The reception inside was so warm and elegant. We designed the vacant balcony into a whimsy willow tree look to hang down tapering off into the where the band played. We used a mix of warm candle light flower wreaths and our rental bronze containers to have flowers flowing down and out to the base to make guests feel as if the garden were brought outside in.

Morgan + Alec
Morgan and Alec had a beautiful intimate waterfront wedding. Colorful moody fall natural tones with pampas and cat tail accents. Their ceremony arch was a custom made triangle arch with the pampas and floral growing from each side bottom up to cover any mechanics of the arch. Blues, yellow, orange, red, burgundy, the colors all paired so well together. Our favorite part detail were the bridesmaids dahlia cuff wrist corsages. Afterwards they became bracelet keepsake gifts for the bridesmaids. This was such a unique bridal party flower touch.

Kacie +Adam
Kacie and Adam had a beautiful outdoor spring time hill country wedding at The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge. We used native hill country floral in white and blush with gold accents. We had our 7ft wreath alter designed to match the bride's bouquet filled with roses and greenery under their gigantic oak trees. The reception was amazing under their tented patio with string lights! As soon as you walked in your eyes went straight to the 6ft wide custom floral and greenery chandelier floral fixture. Smilax greenery sprawled down across the tops of the tents and flowed down the poles to hide a lot of the tent mechanics and create an outdoor inside feel. Take us back to this day we loved every moment of their wedding flowers. Classic gold revere bowls with greenery and floral cascading out mixed with a hurricane candle candle set mixed with our mercury glass pillar candles and LED lights.

Allie & TJ
Allie and TJ had the most beautiful wine, burgundy, cranberry, and light blush with white accents for he color scheme. The flowers we used were lisianthus, ohara garden rose, scabiosa, quicksand rose, dahlia, peonies, and italian ruskus, mixed with dried albino italian ruskus. Allie and TJ’s classically romantic wedding at The Chandelier of Gruene was even more sentimental since a river trip to Gruene, Texas, was where they first met and kick-started their journey together! Jordan Flowers & Events creates dreamy romance with every single floral arrangement! We love the moody maroon blooms that are scattered throughout Allie’s bouquet and the plentiful greenery that accents both indoor and outdoor wedding scenes around The Chandelier at Gruene. In the pews of their ceremony, one missing face was there only in spirit, commemorated with a greenery-trimmed photo memory – Allie lost her mother to cancer about five years ago, shortly after meeting TJ. “My mom was my best friend and the person I looked up to the most, so I wanted to honor her and remember her in every way possible throughout our wedding day,” Allie said. “To do this, I made a few alterations. First, we took my mom’s wedding dress she wore, and had it custom made into the robe I wore on the wedding day while I was getting ready… (Also,) on the first pew of the chapel we had a picture of my mom wrapped in a greenery covered wreath hung in the seat my mom would have sat to ‘save’ her seat. I also got to wear the veil my mom wore on her wedding day as well.” Allie went on to say these meaningful moments helped her to feel at ease and surrounded by her mom’s presence on her wedding day rather than sad she wasn’t able to be physically present. We think she picked the most thoughtful ways to pay homage to her mom! The evening ended with dancing and cake-cutting – a delicious looking four-tiered creation from Sweet Treets Bakery is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth and this classic white wedding cake sure does look good while doing it! Read on for the bride’s story about the significance of elephants to her late mom and other sweet details she incorporated in subtle ways throughout her romantic wedding attire. Cheers to Allie and TJ!

Allison & Justin
This elegant hill country wedding features dusty blue, grey, blush and ivory with natural greenery at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center was such a beautiful wedding day! While this was a fall wedding their wedding floral and colors are perfect for spring, winter, and summer. Their flowers had a very romantic whimsy and modern look with classic premium ohara garden roses, and native Texas blue thistle flowers accented wit a dusty pink quicksand rose. The wedding ceremony was held in the venue's courtyard, embracing the venue's beautiful archway as the ceremony arch backdrop. For the aisle markers we used our rental tall cylinder vases with floral/greenery toppers that were taken down after the ceremony and reused as the head table centerpieces. They also had beautiful 4ft long italian ruskus greenery swags that vined up and down the wooden folding chairs.

River Place Country Club
Ashley & John's elegant wedding at River Place Country Club near West Lake was such a beautiful day! We used Eucalyptus hill country flowers with colors of dusty pink and white's. For the wedding reception we used our rental hurricane LED lights and candles with greenery accents.

Stephanie & Jordan
Jordan and Stephanie went with moody burgundy and blush tones at their Allen House wedding. The groom's eyes lit up when he saw his bride for the first time. The couple married under the sprawling oaks and strand lights downtown at the historical 3 story Allen House. The courtyard was filled with boho modern romantic tones mixed with our rental ceder arch and gold lanterns down the aisle. We loved Stephanie's champagne and glass bead wedding gown. Her romantic ruby jewel toned bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were perfectly complimentary. Peached Tortilla did the catering while Brio photography captured every moment:) The weather in November was crisp and perfect the most perfect ending to the the perfect dreamy wedding day. Our mercury gold rental tea lights and geo prisms with floral cascading was so pretty and the cake from Sweet Treet was amazing!!

Kayla + Ben
Kayla and Ben had such a a warm timeless elegant wedding day at Brodie Homestead. We used our 7 ft arch wreath rental for the ceremony and had floral and greenery on each side flowing up and around the arch. The floral pedal stool Arrangements were re purposed to the guest table centerpiece filled with warm candles and clean white linens. We had simple smilax greenery cascading around and veining down into the head table.

Dakota & Leslie
As soon as we spotted this dreamlike blush pink ranch wedding, we knew that we had to share! We are loving all of the magical details of Leslie Montgomery and Dakota Wilson’s big day. The bride looked truly stunning accompanied perfectly by her bridesmaids who were in blush pink, all with beautiful white and pink blooms from Jordan Flowers & Events. Pecan Springs Ranch provided the most enchanting backdrop for their outdoor ceremony, and Leslie and Dakota’s blissful “just married” smiles coming back down the aisle are contagious. The couple kicked off the reception with a champagne seating chart from Catering With A Twist to start celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Wilson – cheers to the happy couple!
