A Vision in Rouge: The Christian Louboutin Flower Bar at The Domain

Step into the world of Christian Louboutin, and you are immediately met with a signature sense of drama, elegance, and that unmistakable flash of red. When we were invited to create a bespoke flower bar for their exclusive client event at The Domain, we knew the floral design had to be as structurally perfect and visually arresting as a pair of So Kates. The goal was to provide guests with a tactile, luxury experience that mirrored the craftsmanship of the maison while celebrating the vibrant energy of spring.

Designing with the Iconic Red Sole in Mind

The color palette was non-negotiable. To honor the brand’s heritage, we curated a selection of blooms that transitioned from deep, moody magentas to the quintessential Louboutin red. We sourced premium black-center anemones to mimic the contrast of a dark stiletto against skin, paired with lush "Red Explorer" roses and delicate ranunculus. By incorporating architectural elements like tall, sleek calla lilies, we ensured the flower bar felt elevated and modern rather than traditionally rustic.

The Interactive Client Experience

As clients browsed the latest collections, they were invited to visit the flower bar to have a custom bouquet crafted on the spot. This wasn't just about handing out flowers; it was an artisanal moment. Our florists worked with each guest to select stems that resonated with their personal style, wrapping each arrangement in high-end, matte black paper secured with crimson silk ribbons. The juxtaposition of the soft petals against the sharp lines of the boutique’s interior created a stunning visual narrative that kept cameras clicking all afternoon.

A Floral Statement at The Domain

Hosting this activation at The Domain provided the perfect backdrop of high-end fashion and sophisticated foot traffic. The flower bar served as a living extension of the window displays, drawing people into the Louboutin universe through scent and color. It was a beautiful reminder that luxury is found in the details—the curve of a heel, the velvet texture of a petal, and the personalized touch of an event designed specifically for the brand's most loyal admirers.

The Texas Women’s Leadership Conference kicked off with an unforgettable VIP Reception at the historic Governor’s Mansion, setting a sophisticated tone for the inaugural event. Under the careful planning of JHL, the evening transformed into a masterclass in luxury, blending high-level networking with hands-on experiences that delighted every guest in attendance.

Culinary Artistry and Texas Rhythms

The atmosphere was electric as the smooth sounds of Texas Tech Jazz filled the air, providing a soulful backdrop to a night of celebration. Chef Eric with Food+Drink curated a menu that was nothing short of spectacular, featuring flavors that celebrated the best of Texas cuisine with a refined, modern twist. Guests raved about the delicious offerings, which were perfectly complemented by a high-energy espresso martini bar. For those looking for a warm, creative pick-me-up, the Luna Espresso Cart served custom beverages that doubled as art, giving attendees a cozy boost of energy.

Making Happiness Bloom

One of the most talked-about highlights of the evening was the interactive flower bar, a "gift that kept on giving" throughout the night. This hands-on activation invited women to step into a world of vibrant color and fragrance, where they could hand-select their favorite blooms freshly imported from Holland. It was more than just a giveaway; it was a moment of personal creativity and joy as guests crafted their own "bouquets of fun." The best event florist in Austin created the most creative fun guest experience that brought joy and happiness to every guest enjoyed a take home guest favor to say thank you and left the guests to feel thought of and sparked a vibe of happiness acorss the event.

A Celebration of Leadership

The First Lady of Texas joined the festivities, adding a layer of grace and inspiration to the evening. From the custom-designed cookies to the sharp photography by Tyler Schmitt, every detail was executed to perfection. As guests departed with their hand-picked flowers and memories of an elegant evening, the sense of community and empowerment was palpable, proving that leadership and luxury are a natural pair.

As we gear up for the high-energy atmosphere of SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible impact of last year’s collaboration. In March 2025, we had the privilege of providing custom floral and plant decor for The Female Quotient (FQ) Lounge™, hosted at the iconic Waller Creek Boathouse.

The FQ Lounge™ has long been known as "the place where business happens," serving as a vital hub for industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and tackle the pressing questions surrounding gender equality in the workplace and beyond.

Elevating the "Equality Lounge" Experience

Our goal for the 2025 activation was to create a "female-forward" environment that was as inspiring as the conversations taking place within it. At an event where women drive up to 85% of purchasing decisions but receive less than 2% of venture capital funding, every detail matters in creating a space that feels both professional and empowering.

The decor at the Waller Creek Boathouse featured:

Lush Floral Installations: Vibrant arrangements designed to mirror the energy of the "Invest in Women Daily" (IWD) initiative.
Branded Plant Decor: Strategic greenery that complemented the FQ brand while providing a welcoming, organic feel to the high-tech SXSW environment.
Interactive Elements: We believe that florals should be an experience, not just a backdrop, much like the FQ’s mission to move from "good intentions to intentional actions".

Texas Women's Conference

What an incredible experience at the annual Texas Women’s Conference in Austin! We were absolutely thrilled to join over 4,000 inspiring guests for a day centered around growth and connection. As the "Texas in Bloom" theme took over the city, we partnered with Texas Mutual to bring a unique, tactile experience to life that truly made happiness bloom.

Our interactive flower bar was the talk of the conference, offering a creative sanctuary amidst the bustling event. We curated a stunning buffet of dried botanicals displayed in our signature rental dishes, allowing every guest to hand-pick the blooms that resonated with them most. Once they designed their perfect postcard keepsake, they visited our "budtender" to have their floral arrangements permanently preserved with a custom wax seal.

Watching thousands of women walk away with a personalized piece of art was the highlight of our week. There is something so special about the ritual of selecting flowers and watching the hot wax create a timeless seal, and we are so grateful to have provided that moment of tactile joy. It was a beautiful reminder of how small, intentional details can make a massive impact at a large-scale event.
