It is always so special to add flowers, texture, and art design to a shop not just for an event but every day. We soo loved being able to have a helping hand in Kimmie Jean Boutique a cute little boutique located 45 miles south of Austin. The shop had bare cinderblock gray walls and they needed something fun and beautiful to soften the atmosphere and add charm. We used our rental disco balls for the large grapevine doorway entrance that curved across the top down to the floor and combined with her logo on their shoe wall to give it a more feminine feel. We did white flowers and pampas that faded to light pink and got darker at the bottom and had fun disco ball accents through both floral shop installations. The grapevine was designed to be seasonal so after the shop opening, we will be creating a show stopping white wintery Christmas shop charm at the end of the fall season. Every great shop needs a great work of art or something to captivate the attention of whomever walks by, this was our and we were so happy to be able to bring Kimmie Jean's dream shop flower installation to life!

FQ SXSW Floral & Plant Decor
Making Happiness Bloom: A Look Back at the FQ Lounge™ @ SXSW 2025
As we gear up for the high-energy atmosphere of SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible impact of last year’s collaboration. In March 2025, we had the privilege of providing custom floral and plant decor for The Female Quotient (FQ) Lounge™, hosted at the iconic Waller Creek Boathouse.
The FQ Lounge™ has long been known as "the place where business happens," serving as a vital hub for industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and tackle the pressing questions surrounding gender equality in the workplace and beyond.
Elevating the "Equality Lounge" Experience
Our goal for the 2025 activation was to create a "female-forward" environment that was as inspiring as the conversations taking place within it. At an event where women drive up to 85% of purchasing decisions but receive less than 2% of venture capital funding, every detail matters in creating a space that feels both professional and empowering.
The decor at the Waller Creek Boathouse featured:
- Lush Floral Installations: Vibrant arrangements designed to mirror the energy of the "Invest in Women Daily" (IWD) initiative.
- Branded Plant Decor: Strategic greenery that complemented the FQ brand while providing a welcoming, organic feel to the high-tech SXSW environment.
- Interactive Elements: We believe that florals should be an experience, not just a backdrop, much like the FQ’s mission to move from "good intentions to intentional actions".
Looking Ahead to SXSW 2026
With the Austin Convention Center undergoing redevelopment, SXSW 2026 is set to be a reimagined experience spread across vibrant neighborhoods. We are thrilled to continue our mission of making happiness bloom by offering even more interactive and customizable floral experiences for corporate clients.
For 2026, we are highlighting our Interactive Flower Bar and Custom Flower Truck—the perfect way to engage guests while keeping your brand front and center.
- Interactive Flower Bar: We can provide customized pricing based on your event timing, guest count, and budget. Whether it’s a pop-up lounge or a VIP happy hour, we work with your specific budget to provide the best possible options.
- Brand-Aligned Flower Truck: Our truck can be fully customized with your brand colors and logos. We offer specialized branding opportunities, including custom magnets, advertising logos, and branded wrapping paper, ribbons, or floral cards to ensure every guest takes a piece of your brand home with them.
Join the Movement
The FQ Lounge™ remains a destination for those looking to change the equation. As we prepare for another year in Austin, we invite you to think about how "intentional decor" can elevate your brand's presence at the world's premier event for innovation and creativity.
SXSW 2026 Dates: March 12–18, 2026

Texas Women's Conference
What an incredible experience at the annual Texas Women’s Conference in Austin! We were absolutely thrilled to join over 4,000 inspiring guests for a day centered around growth and connection. As the "Texas in Bloom" theme took over the city, we partnered with Texas Mutual to bring a unique, tactile experience to life that truly made happiness bloom.
Our interactive flower bar was the talk of the conference, offering a creative sanctuary amidst the bustling event. We curated a stunning buffet of dried botanicals displayed in our signature rental dishes, allowing every guest to hand-pick the blooms that resonated with them most. Once they designed their perfect postcard keepsake, they visited our "budtender" to have their floral arrangements permanently preserved with a custom wax seal.
Watching thousands of women walk away with a personalized piece of art was the highlight of our week. There is something so special about the ritual of selecting flowers and watching the hot wax create a timeless seal, and we are so grateful to have provided that moment of tactile joy. It was a beautiful reminder of how small, intentional details can make a massive impact at a large-scale event.
A huge thank you to Texas Mutual for trusting us with your vision and to everyone who stopped by to create with us. Austin, you were a dream, and we are still feeling the floral high from such an empowering gathering!
